Evolution Of A Worthing Hypnotist

Hypnotist > Remedial Hypnotist

So I have been through a metamorphosis lately: my colour has changed from blue to black, orange and yellow; my logo has changed from clasping hands to a puzzle piece; I have finally decided on what to call myself.

When I first set up my Worthing hypnotherapy practice I decided on calling myself a hypnotist in order to set myself apart from other Worthing hypnotherapists. This is because a lot of hypnotherapists stick to the most traditional of approaches using relaxation and therapy whereas I focus on techniques using more direct hypnotic suggestion.

Remedial Hypnotist > Worthing Hypnotist

After a while I figured that my title needed something more to it in order to set myself apart from any stage hypnotists in Worthing. After a little thought I settled on Remedial Hypnotist as I felt that expressed my solution focussed style of therapy. I never got completely comfortable with that either and so a short while later I decided on Worthing Hypnotist. This was practical and served a purpose, but I still could not settle on it.

Worthing Hypnotist > Therapeutic Hypnotist

So, I have finally picked a title that I am happy with and will probably take to my retirement. I have decided to call myself a Therapeutic Hypnotist. I think this sets me apart from other hypnotherapists in Worthing who use relaxation and makes it clear that I use hypnosis for therapy.

When I say hypnosis I do not mean relaxotherapy. I mean I use direct hypnotic suggestion to help you understand how your mind works. I use hypnosis to demonstrate that you create your own reality and how to change that reality when you are not happy with it. There is much more to hypnosis than relaxation and so I hope that you are intrigued and beguiled and fascinated along your way to feeling more comfortable in your own mind.
