My Boyfriend Needs Counselling But Doesn't Want To Go

It can be hard when someone you love needs help but is reluctant to accept it. Men are difficult as well. We are as emotional as the rest of the world but tend to like trying to take care of things ourselves. It is not appealing to sit in a room and talk about what is wrong and how we feel about it for weeks on end. But if your boyfriend needs counselling, but doesn't want to go, might he consider hypnosis? Hypnosis is a better suited treatment for men.

Hypnosis is fast

If he goes to see a good hypnotist he will not need to keep going back over and over as results are often achieved in just one or two sessions no matter how complicated the issue seems to be.

Hypnosis is direct

Although the hypnotist will need to ask for some background information for some clues as to how to deal with the current problem, they will not need to dwell on past events and feelings for hours on end in order to solve the problem. The problem solving aspect often uses metaphor in hypnosis and not actual events or experiences.

Hypnosis is an interesting experience

Hypnosis is an out of the ordinary experience and a good hypnotist will not push ahead with treatment unless they can demonstrate to a client that something out of the ordinary is going on. This means that he will have some assurance that what he is doing is going to be worth his time and money.

Hypnosis is likely to work on everything

Whether your boyfriend needs counselling for emotional problems such as anger management, depression, anxiety, confidence, to break an unwanted habit or to resolve some sort of inner conflict, there is a very good chance that hypnosis will work.

These are several reasons why hypnosis is better for your boyfriend than counselling. It is probably worth doing a little research before you get him to call them as some hypnotherapists are more like counsellors so look for a hypnotist or clinical hypnotist you will be talking to someone who uses far more direct methods. I am a hypnotist in West Sussex and always happy to help.
